I feel somewhat like i’m grasping at straws with my Tuesday posts. Technically I want to post client photos on this day, but it always seems that January and February are quiet months. I have sessions booked for the next few months and I hope to fix this problem.

I often like to look back at the past years and see what I took pictures of a year ago today. Today we are going to reminisce a little and show you what i’m working on today.
BridalShower11 year ago today, I was at a bridal shower that some friends planned for me. ^ I am blessed to have friends like I do.

Jamaica42 years ago today I was visiting my sister in Jamaica. ^

Jamaica1Our youth group from church had taken a work crew down to help out at the mission she was working at. We took 1 day for a little sight seeing.

Jamaica2The view from the top of the lighthouse. I love climbing lighthouses, although walking around the top scares me. I hug the wall as much as I can.

Jamaica3TODAY I am…

Todayon pinterest finding inspiration for my family/maternity session on Saturday. I will just say that I do NOT try to copy exact poses or pictures. It never works. Each photograph taken by a photographer is a work of art. It is a product of their creativity, lighting, elements of that particular moment in time and the subjects they are working with. I do use these photos to get my creative juices inspired.

Come back later this week for color inspirations for your next photo session. Subscribe to my blog via the RSS feed on the right column and get updates in your email. Check back next week for a peak at the family session coming up this week end.

Thanks for visiting. I’d love to hear from you and your thoughts on what you find on this blog.

  1. Love the picture with your mom and grandmother. Your mom looks just like she did 30 years ago!
