North Carolina Green River Plantation Wedding | Nautical Themed

Posted by on Nov 14, 2016 in Photo Sessions, Wedding | 0 comments

Ladies & Gentlemen, I present to you this beautiful couple and their formal photos at the Green River Plantation. We had THE BEST morning light to work with and beautiful surroundings. I love plantation homes and I especially love when I have the privilege of shooting wedding images near them. The bride was flawless and glowed grace and femininity. The groom was incredibly excited to meet his bride at their first look.  He kept her smiling all day! They had a beautiful ceremony in Tryon, NC at their church. The reception was nautical themed. The bride and friends had made the cutest little sail boats and other pretty details. I absolutely loved how the bridesmaid...

Y’all. Look at this beautiful baby girl. Newborn photos can sometimes take awhile, but not with this girl. She was awake in the beginning and with a few rocks from momma she was out cold. It is a lot of fun to watch your friends become parents. We live a few hours apart, so we met in the middle at a friends lovely little home in Abbeville, SC. It was the perfect backdrop for some lovely newborn photos. Look at her curled up. She is so precious. Congratulations...

Intimate Beach Wedding | Hilton Head, SC

Posted by on Jun 30, 2016 in Couples, Photo Sessions, Wedding | 0 comments

This intimate beach wedding still has me smiling. Hilton Head Island is a beautiful place all by itself. Add a handsome couple and its even better. I had not met Fawn & Jed before he greeted me at the condo door. From the minute he said “hello”, I knew we were going to have a fabulous time. Fawn & Jed, as well as their family who were present, were so warm and welcoming. The rain held off long enough for the ceremony and photos afterwards. This couple laughed and enjoyed each other’s company the entire time. Its hard to choose only a few photos to show you. Check out my portfolio for...

Family Photos in the Woods| Family of 4

Posted by on Jun 22, 2016 in Children, Family, Photo Sessions | 0 comments

Meet this lovely Family of 4. They requested photos in the woods. My parents have a beautiful back yard in the woods, so it was an easy choice. We did a family session combo, which included a little of everything. Family, 7 year portraits and a generational group photo. I always love to snag a photo of mom and dad. It give the children a well deserved break from smiling and sitting still. For the mile-marker 7 year photos, it was requested that we have the number in the photos. This makes it easier for Grandma & Grandpa to remember their grandchildren’s ages. I thought this was a great idea. Its hard enough to keep track of my own age, let alone children &...
