Precious new Families in 2016.

This beautiful little girl is loved by her parents. She was the perfect child during the session. I tell no stories when I say that she has only gotten more beautiful as she gets older. I envy her hair and skin color.

A mutual friend of ours (mine and this family) allowed us to meet in the middle and use her beautiful home for these portraits. It was the perfect, relaxed atmosphere for a newborn session.

So many Sweet babies. A local friend of mine, welcomed their 1st child the beginning of December. What a fun Christmas Miracle to witness. Bryce was also really great during the session. He wanted to be awake and see what was going on the entire time.

He has the sweetest little adventure themed room. I’m sure it will encourage his imagination as he gets older.

I love when pictures are taken for a special reason. They all are special, but when the client has a specific project in mind for them, its even better.
Carrie wanted these images for their new home. She is starting off right, with a lot of beautiful artwork to display in their new space.

Senior sessions are always full of personality. This one for my cousin Stewart was no different. He has great style and came prepared with outfits and accessories. We were at the state Capital building in Columbia, South Carolina as well as at the Horseshoe on the USC Campus. He is a handsome young man!

Among my personal highlights for the year, has been meeting a group of local lady entrepreneurs. Successful and full of talent. We meet up and learn from each other, as well as help each other out when needed. It has been fun to connect with this group of ladies. We always are in need of new head-shots and had a fun day together exchanging head-shots, dressing up and learning to know each other.

2016 was a year of many beautiful couples.

I started out the year with Kyle & Kaity at Freedom Park in Charlotte, NC.
Perfect winter colors + Whimsical, Foggy Images

The day was dreary and started raining as we left. I love the fog, it adds a magical feel to the images. Kyle & Kaity were a lot of fun and from their vibrant smiles, you would never have known that they had only arrived in Charlotte a few hours earlier with little sleep.

Their wedding was in August at Bridgewater Church of the Brethren in Bridgewater, VA. The sunflowers and cobalt blue were the perfect colors to match Kaity’s fun personality. Be on the lookout for a blog post featuring their beautiful wedding in the next few weeks.

2nd Engagement for the year was this Nautical Themed Session with Ryan & Rachel.

A friend of mine let us use his property and boat. This is only a sneak peak of the beautiful images we were able to create with this couple.
Check out my Portfolio and previous Blog Posts for more from this session.

Their wedding was held in Tryon, NC. We were privileged to take photos at the Green River Plantation. The grounds were beautiful and we had the most glorious morning light to work with.

Fawn & Jed’s Elopement on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina was among my top favorite sessions of all time. We met for the first time, when they greeted me at the door of their condo. Instantly I knew, it was going to be a great session. An intimate ceremony was planned on the beach with a few family members present.

Elopements / Intimate weddings are my favorite sessions!

Bridal Sessions are a favorite of mine as well. We have so much time and all the pretty details to play with. These Bridal’s of Chelsea were taken at Smith’s Blueberry Farm in Leesville, South Carolina.
The Bride wearing her mother’s gorgeous wedding dress.

The last engagement session for the year was Bryan & Morgan at Sans Souci Farms in Sumter, South Carolina.
Once again we had an early morning session and WOW, it produces the most gorgeous light. This couple was relaxed and fun.
I look forward to their wedding in 2017!

Male Senior Portraits at Columbia, SC State House & USC Horseshoe

The SC State House and USC Horseshoe were the perfect choices for these senior Portraits. Stewart is a fashionable dresser and likes all the details. I knew it was going to be a fun session. I was excited for the opportunity to shoot in a city setting instead of the normal, trucks and fields that Seniors choose. For Stewart we needed classy and trendy.

Stewart is a cousin of mine and comes from a beautiful family. I believe that every senior session I’ve done for them is my favorite. 2 more to go!
