A little bit of Fall Decor :: Natural Fall Decor :: DIY

Fall in the south is not as distinct as Fall in the North. Last week I noticed a few small trees in my woods were actually turning a few shades of orange and red. I picked a few branches and threw them in a white pitcher for a little bit of Fall inside the house. This year, we aren’t going to have much by way of Fall decorations. I am ok with that. Our schedule just hasn’t allowed me to take time to do that.

A few days later I noticed that my sage and lavender plants were beautiful and decided to make a few wreaths before the frost hits them. Sadly, their beauty only lasted a day before they wilted on me. They are still hanging, in all of their wilted glory because I haven’t taken the time to remove them. Wilted efforts are better than none at all, right?

This is what my buffet looked like for 1 day. I enjoyed it while it lasted.

Here is a picture of what it looks like now. Due to the phone photo is looks worse than in real life.

  1. That is beautiful! Really love your taste in decor 🙂
